KIMW-F gGmbH
The KIMW Forschungs-GmbH is a non-profit research institute based in Lüdenscheid, Germany, and is privately owned and not profit-oriented. It supports plastics processing companies in their research and development tasks. The guiding principle of all R&D activities is to ensure competitiveness, especially of small and medium-sized enterprises within the German plastics processing industry. The competitiveness within the framework of partnership, application and basic R&D activities is to be secured by creating and securing innovation leadership, building up know-how and disseminating knowledge for the German plastics industry. In particular in the field of injection moulding process development, surface and coating technology, but also in combination with processing tools, a diverse know-how has been built up in recent years. The work is accompanied by a technical advisory board and board of trustees.
