The measures implemented in the Brückenbildung NRW project build on and complement existing funding activities within North Rhine-Westphalia’s Regional Innovation Strategy.

NRW will receive around € 1.2 billion in ERDF funding from the EU between 2014 and 2020 for regional development. About € 1.8 billion in funding are expected from the Horizon 2020 programme.
